Reverend Angela S. Callaway, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, was born on June 17th to Herman and Ruby Spann. As a result of her parents' exemplary holy matrimony, Reverend Angela Callaway developed and possesses strong family values. She is now married to Jonathan Callaway and is a proud mother of two children. After receiving her high school education, Angela matriculated through Savannah State University where she earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications in June of 1997.
From an early age Reverend Angela Callaway was reared in Christianity, faithfully attended and was active in church. It was in church that Reverend Callaway learned to skillfully praise and worship in song which is the foundation of her resulting diverse and skillful musical talent. Over the course of her life, Reverend Callaway remained diligent in keeping the faith and following Christ. However, only the Spirit knew of the powerful evangelistic fire God had placed within her core upon her creation and was able to reveal it to the earth at the perfectly appointed time.
Reverend Angela Callaway first learned of her call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ upon the first time she visited The Sanctuary Village Ministries in 1998. In the middle of service, Bishop Kinaya J. Ade' whispered in her ear, "Daughter, the Lord says that you are to preach the gospel simply because they will believe!" It has been said that Reverend Callaway wanted to ask for her offering back! Since that time Reverend Callaway accepted the call and was licensed to preach the gospel in January of 2009. And on April 17, 2011, Reverend Callaway was ordained and installed as the Co-Pastor of The Sanctuary Village Ministries, South. Having become the recent Co-Founder of The Sanctuary Village of Power, Inc., Reverend Angela Callaway currently presides and is to be officially installed as Co-Pastor of The Sanctuary Village of Power in January 2012.
Reverend Callaway is greatly anointed to operate in the Spirit in many ways. In addition to shepherding, being musically skilled, and apt in preaching, Reverend Callaway also has a calling in relationship tutoring and counseling. With a divine call and passion for relationships, Angela and her husband, Jonathan Callaway, birthed The Sanctuary Relationship Institute in November 2010. This ministry is to help build lasting, loving relationships and mend those that are broken.
Angela's personal creed is found in Matthew 22: 37-38 "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment." Love Him y'all, God is worth it!
