Project Open Hand
Here at The POWER Center, voluntarism and community service are cornerstones of our ministry. We believe that worship is incomplete without service! We believe that church should be much more than a "Sunday morning experience" and that we should focus on the work that we do the rest of the week!
Because Jesus is our model, we take to heart his example found in
Matthew 20:28:
In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many people."
